TERMS OF SERVICE

Version 1.0 · Last updated: 12 April 2026 · Canonical URL for Google Play

These Terms govern your use of Lunamya and MYA, our AI Life Guide. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. Eligibility and account

You must be at least 18 years old to use Lunamya. You are responsible for the accuracy of your profile and for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to harass, threaten, impersonate, scam, or publish illegal content. Hate speech, sexual exploitation, and non-consensual content are strictly prohibited.

3. Safety and guidance scope

Lunamya is a private AI Life Guide product. MYA is an AI Life Guide, not therapy, crisis care, or a dating service. We may review reports about misuse of messages or account, apply moderation actions, restrict features, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or local law. Severe violations can be escalated to authorities when legally required.

If you are in crisis, contact local emergency services or a helpline. MYA may surface local resources; she does not replace professional help.

4. Content and license

You keep ownership of your content. By sharing content with Lunamya, you grant us a limited license to host and process it only for operating and improving the service (including MYA replies you request).

5. Subscriptions and billing

Lunamya Aura is a paid membership billed either monthly or annually, and it renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. The amounts and the billing intervals are set out on the Pricing page; the exact amount, currency, and applicable tax are shown at checkout before you pay, and that figure is the one that governs.

Subscriptions bought on the web at app.lunamya.com are processed by Dodo Payments, acting as merchant of record. Subscriptions bought inside the mobile app are processed by Google Play under Google Play's terms.

You can cancel at any time; there is no lock-in contract, and you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for. How to cancel, and how to request a refund, are set out in section 6 below (Refunds and Cancellation). Nothing in these Terms removes a right you have under the consumer law of your country of residence.

6. Refunds and Cancellation

Last updated: 15 September 2026 · Applies to Lunamya Aura subscriptions and to the free trial

This section explains how to cancel a Lunamya Aura subscription and how to request a refund. It forms part of these Terms of Service. Nothing here removes a right you have under the consumer law of your country.

6.1 Where you subscribed decides who handles it

Lunamya Aura can be bought in two places, and the route for cancelling or refunding follows the place you bought it:

The free trial does not create a subscription and never charges you, so there is nothing to cancel or refund.

6.2 How to cancel

You can cancel at any time. There is no lock-in contract, no minimum term, and no cancellation fee.

Web subscription (Dodo Payments)

  1. Open the subscription link in your Dodo Payments receipt — it opens the customer portal for your subscription.
  2. Choose Cancel subscription and confirm.
  3. Or email support@lunamya.com from the address on your Lunamya account, with the subject “Cancel my subscription”. We will cancel it for you.

In-app subscription (Google Play)

  1. Google Play: Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Lunamya → Cancel.

Deleting your Lunamya account does not cancel a store subscription — cancel it in the store as above.

What happens when you cancel

Your subscription stops renewing and no further payments are taken. You keep the access you already paid for until the end of the current billing period, and then it ends. We do not charge a fee for cancelling, and we do not require you to give a reason.

6.3 How to request a refund

Lunamya Aura is sold in two places, and the route a refund takes depends on where you bought it. Our own refund window is the same on both, and it is the one that governs: 72 hours after you create your account — the free trial's first 24 hours, then the 48 hours that follow it. The free trial never charges you, so the first payment is the earliest moment a refund can apply.

Web subscription (Dodo Payments)

On the web, your first payment is refunded if you ask within 48 hours of the free trial ending — the last 48 hours of that 72-hour window. Ask anywhere inside it and we refund that payment in full, through Dodo Payments.

This window is ours, and it is the same on both platforms. It covers the first payment; it does not cover later renewals. If a renewal is wrong — taken twice, or taken after you cancelled — section 6.5 applies instead, and that is not time-limited.

To ask, email support@lunamya.com with the subject “Refund request”, including:

We review every request and reply to the address you wrote from. If a refund is approved, we instruct it through Dodo Payments and it is returned to the original payment method. Processing time after approval is set by your bank or card issuer, not by us.

Once that window has closed, a refund on the web is no longer automatic. What applies then is the statutory right you hold under the law of your country (section 6.4). Write to us anyway if something went wrong — we will look at it.

In-app subscription (Google Play)

Inside the mobile app the seller is Google Play, so a refund there is processed through Google Play rather than by us directly.

Google Play's own refund window is 48 hours, and we respect it. Ours is longer, and it covers the app too: whether you bought on the web or inside the app, you can ask us within 72 hours of creating your account — the free trial's first 24 hours, then the 48 hours that follow it. Where Google Play's window is shorter than ours, ours is the one we hold ourselves to.

If Google Play declines a request that falls inside our 72-hour window, we will make it good ourselves — a credit on your Lunamya account, or a direct refund of the amount you paid. Our window does not depend on Google Play agreeing to it.

6.4 Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits rights given to you by the consumer law of your country of residence, or by Dodo Payments' own terms as merchant of record.

Consumers in the European Union, the EEA and the United Kingdom normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for a distance contract. Where you asked us to begin supplying a digital service immediately during that period, the law may provide that the right of withdrawal is lost once supply has begun; where that does not apply, you may withdraw within 14 days of the purchase and receive a refund of that payment.

If your local law gives you a longer period or a broader right to a refund than this policy, that law prevails.

6.5 Failed or duplicate charges

If you believe you were charged twice, charged after cancelling, or charged an amount different from the one shown at checkout, contact support@lunamya.com first. We will check the payment with Dodo Payments and correct any error, including a full refund where a charge should not have been taken.

6.6 Changes to this section

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the current version. Changes apply to subscriptions made after the change; a purchase already made is governed by the policy in force on the day you bought it.

6.7 Contact

Refunds, cancellations and billing questions: support@lunamya.com. See also Contact and Pricing.

7. Conversations and memory

Messaging MYA is processed so she can reply. Long-term memories are created only when you opt in (for example Daily Reflection confirmations or message bookmarks). You can export or delete account data through in-app settings subject to legal retention rules.

8. Sounds and optional features

Sound Sanctuary and related optional features may use device preferences and local audio assets. Availability can depend on membership trial or subscription status as shown in the app.

9. Service availability

We work to keep Lunamya available and secure, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Features can change, pause, or stop without prior notice when needed for legal, security, or operational reasons.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Lunamya is provided "as is" and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after updates means you accept the revised Terms.

12. Contact

For legal and policy questions, contact support@lunamya.com or use in-app help / the official support channel listed in the store profile.
