PRIVACY POLICY

LUNAMYA ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Global policy (English)

Lunamya is available worldwide (except where prohibited by law). This Privacy Policy is provided in English as our single global reference. It is designed to meet the strictest common standards, including GDPR-level rights. Your statutory rights under the laws of your country of residence remain fully available.

2. Data we collect

We collect account data (name, email, date of birth, country), profile details you share during onboarding (such as your role, intentions, and optional notes), your conversations with MYA, memory drafts and the confirmed memories you choose to keep (morning Daily Reflection checkboxes and chat bookmarks; nothing becomes persistent Evolution memory without your confirmation), your sound-listening activity, subscription and purchase references, usage telemetry, and security signals. MYA is a fixed guide identity: you do not choose her name or persona.

3. Sensitive (special-category) data

What you share with your guide may reveal feelings, mental wellbeing, beliefs, or other sensitive details. We treat this as special-category data and process it only on the basis of your explicit consent, given before your first conversation. You can withdraw that consent at any time from Settings (Privacy & Security → Withdraw MYA data consent), which stops guide AI processing until you consent again, or by deleting your data or your account.

4. Why we process data

Data is processed to provide the guide, store conversations and the memories you confirm (Daily Reflection and chat bookmarks), deliver the sounds library, manage your subscription, keep accounts secure, comply with legal obligations, and improve quality of service. We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising profiling.

5. AI processing & third parties

Your messages to the guide are sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, PBC (Claude API, United States), which processes them transiently to generate replies. Your conversations are not used to train the provider's public models. We do not store your personal data on the AI provider's systems: your account data, conversations, and memories are stored only on our infrastructure (Supabase primary database in South Asia (Mumbai, India)). Payments are handled by our payment providers: web subscriptions are processed by Dodo Payments as merchant of record, and in-app purchases by Google Play. We never store full card data.

6. Data storage & cross-border transfers

Primary storage is hosted on Supabase in South Asia (Mumbai, India). AI processing takes place in the United States (Anthropic, PBC). Where data leaves your region (including to India and the United States), transfers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses and, where applicable, the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, with additional contractual and security safeguards.

7. Retention

Your conversations and confirmed memories are kept while your account is active so your guide can use what you chose to keep. Draft notes that you leave unchecked are not stored as persistent Evolution memory. When you delete a memory, a conversation, or your account, the corresponding data is erased from our database; deletion of your account cascades to your conversations and memories.

8. Your rights

You can access, export (Settings → Export my data), correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time. Your export includes your profile, purchases, guide conversations, and memories. Response deadlines depend on local law (GDPR: 1 month; other jurisdictions: typically 30 to 45 days). 9. Privacy laws by region

10. Cookies

This product does not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels. On the website (app.lunamya.com), your language preference is stored only in your browser (localStorage). Optional biometric lock on mobile stays on your device.
